Some of our P4/5s and P6/7s headed down to Broughty Ferry this weekend to take part in the Panmure Minis Tournament. Despite the earlier heavy rain, the conditions were near perfect .
Our P4/5's taking on Brechin.The P4/5s took on teams from Brechin, Strathmore and the Madrascals from St Andrews. The tackling and running were much improved from their last outing and they only lost one game in a closely contested match against the eventual winners.
The P6/7 side joined up with Brechin to form a North Angus team. Like their younger counterparts, they demonstrated fantastic commitment that resulted in some well-worked tries and a very credible set of results.
During the tournament, a number of Montrose players offered to help out other teams that were light on players. This was really appreciated by the other coaches and showed excellent sportsmanship from the players.
